Root Canal Treatment
The aim of root canal treatment is to save a tooth that has been damaged due to disease or injury. This is the removal of an infected nerve to assist in the retention of the natural tooth, upon completion the nerve canals are filled and the nerve chamber is sealed. It is advisable to place a crown over any tooth that has been root filled.
Crowns / Bridges
A crown is often the best way to strengthen a tooth that has been compromised through trauma, decay, large fillings, root canal and age-related wear & tear. The crown fits over the prepared existing tooth like a cap.
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth, it consists of an artificial tooth anchored to the adjacent natural teeth.
